My Fish Academy
We will create exciting career pathways through our own 'My Fish Academy' training centre which we are hoping to launch in the next 2 years. We are constantly assessing skills gaps within the workplace. We address any gaps by offering external learning opportunities through providers such as The Growth Company - Education & Skills Team, Blackpool & the Fylde College and Lancaster University.
We offer a range of learning opportunities for our staff members, to include our very own Skills Matrix which we use to develop expertise across a number of functions within our fish factory. Click the video to watch some of the exciting seafood career opportunities available.
Management Training
We also have management training programmes to ensure our team leaders and managers can effectively lead, motivate and inspire our people.
Educational placements are important learning platforms for young people, but have also proved incredibly important for us too – by inviting young people from schools, colleges, universities and community based schemes to be part of our business and assist us with projects, we can provide a valuable learning experience for them, but it also provides us with a continuous flow of fresh ideas and new talent.
